We did it!We purchased an old church in the center of town to revitalize Farmersburg, Indiana into a vibrant community with Original Theater.
Librarians never build their libraries…police officers don’t build jails…but here we are, disabled women, building a theater so that the community will have a place to tell their original stories. |

This abandoned church was poorly maintained, with extensive water damage. We are all volunteers working to bring this abandoned church into a community resource where all are welcome, a desperately needed inclusive place that celebrates all stories and all voices, while bringing in new challenging stories. At Farmersburg Theater, the focus is on creating original theater.
