Farmersburg Theater is a 501 c 3 not for profit organization dedicated to the creation of professional theater through performance and education.
Our mandate of “Always Original” means our focus is on new or unpublished works, nurturing rising and under-represented artistic voices.
Farmersburg Theater celebrates diversity, equity and inclusion, and is proud to be a green company.

Librarians never build their libraries…police officers don’t build jails…but here we are, disabled women, building a theater so that the community will have a place to tell their original stories.

We are all volunteers working to bring this abandoned church into a community resource where all are welcome, a desperately needed inclusive place that celebrates all stories and all voices, while bringing in new challenging stories. At Farmersburg Theater, the focus is on creating original theater.
